Is it an anthology show? I'm too lazy to Google this and need you to tell me everything, Dalyn!

There's really not anything out yet minus it being on Hulu and a JJ Abrams thing, like 11/22/63. There's a whole lot of guesses and speculation, (anthology like AHS, collection of short stories, all of his characters from different books in one place), but from what I can tell, nothing but the trailer so far.
You can hear voices in the trailer of different King characters from different books in the background that is not from the original movies, but I don't know if it is just something done for the trailer or something actually from the show. Hell, I don't even know if they've started shooting this thing. I also don't know how the rights for this will work, like if different studios have rights to different books, and this show can only use characters from studios that agree, or if the book publisher's rights trump that. Shit, I'm not a lawyer so I don't know how any of that works with rights.

I really hope this is the story of a psychic detective, a crazy homicidal nurse and a demonic clown visiting an antique shop, a prison and a town full of vampires.

So this is going to be Stranger Things but actually using Stephen King characters?

You forgot "resident alcoholic" in the list of King's tropes.

If this turns out to be some sort of Dark Tower-related project which binds together all of King's work into one cohesive world....

Haha Stephen King destroyed the town of Castle Rock in Needful Things so he could move on creatively. Only to basically regurgitate all his characters in the Dark Tower series.

Am I the only one who thinks it's a little weird that King's characters, who are all protagonists or antagonists in HORROR novels, are now being treated like they're Disney characters hob nobbing at the theme park?
