Pitt University's Cathedral of Learning. I like seeing medieval looking architecture in a modern city. Fun trivia, its supposed to be haunted.

A great example of Ivo Shandor's early architecture.

On the weekend I found a few more little things for the Little Things series.

More Little Things. I should probably learn some colour correction but I dig how these show the milky NZ/Auckland mid-winter light. Should also probably get a proper camera but I wouldn't have got any of these if I couldn't just pull my phone out any time.

I dusted off my camera for the most recent lunar eclipse. I had a tripod and a timed remote shutter this time, but sadly I feel that I got less useable photos to work than I did before. Many are in soft focus, I'm not sure if this is a fault of the lens, my camera's autofocus (I can't focus well with my eyes, so I use auto most of the time), or it could simply be because i was being too picky and trying to do 5-10 second long exposures at ISO 100 on a 300mm+ lens to avoid the image noise in higher ISOs and the imperceptible motion of the moon orbiting the earth was why a lot of images were blurry.

There are a lot of really cool images in here! I enjoyed looking at them all. It's been 12 years since I've been on the CHUD forums, so I'm still exploring. This is a great thread!

I'm going to post my friends pics.  He's honestly an amazing amateur photographer.

I have a couple of his things on my walls at home.

I always forgot to post a link to my Viewbug profile here.  It's where I post photos of mine that I liked for whatever reason.
