I'm about to watch... - Page 236

I first saw Prometheus in IMAX 3D and yeah, GORGEOUS.  I think Black Rain is Ridley's most Tony Scott looking film and Kingdom of Heaven is one of his best looking films.  Hell, even Legend is just dreamy looking.

The Counselor is pretty darn Tony too.

I enjoyed BAD BLOOD, but probably because I'm a major Batwoman fan.

now watching in the background...

(never seen it before)

I'm actually enjoying it simply because I really dig Ice Cube's screen presence/persona.

That XXX sequel isn't good, but I'll take it over the first anyday.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying that Ice Cube's xXx hasn't got time for Vin's nonsense.  Of course, that just kinda ends up making it a routine action movie.  But the fact that it loops back around to it is kinda fun to me!

"From the director of Die Another Day" on the poster. Wow. That takes balls.

First film by the Duffer Bros.  Not a bad little film.  Go in blind.

Very happy reward for channel flipping.

Just showed up on Netflix: 10 mins in.

I forgot Vincent D'Onofrio was in this.  Delightful as the germaphobe sleazebag CEO!

Who needs Valentines when you have Raiders?

It's Valentine's Day, so tonight will be our annual viewing of the original My Bloody Valentine.  Though last year we did take a break and watch the remake.  This year back to the original.

That's one hell of a double-feature.

I know I'm doing this wrong, but it's on in the background while I work on my laptop

IT'S NOT FUNNY.  AT ALL.

Really nice turnout for Pelham

It's being co-introduced by the editor of Noir City magazine. He's from New York and touts the film as his favorite film.

"The New Yorkiest movie ever made!" he claims.

What's nice for him tonight is that this is the first time he's gonna be able to see it on the big screen.

I actually did not like the original Pelham. I found its tone very shifty. The weird ass non concern that the passengers on the train had for the situation was also very off putting.

you're a weird guy carn-carn!

Charley Varrick was a first time viewing.

So great. It kept reminding me of No Country at various times.
